Hi Dave

I'm sitting in my front room, listening to Radio 5 Live and feeling like a King this morning. The set arrived safely, the courier was very careful with it right up to the point of handing it over and the set is absolutely beautiful. I am delighted with the result, it is better than I could have possibly hoped for. The ipod doc is a triumph and works perfectly and the radio sound is so warm and lovely, the whole thing is just brilliant.

Thanks again for making me very happy.

Mr A V  London   (Radio Rentals Model 62 , see pictures above...)

Thank you so much for all your efforts and for bringing this little slice of history back to life again. I know this is hard work and probably very fiddly and frustrating on occasions so I appreciate your persistence in finding solutions to the problems and rising to the challenges. I hope you get as much satisfaction out of your work as I will.

Hi Dave,

I am looking to purchase a vintage wooden radio circa 30s/40s for my husband for Christmas. It is for a room with leather sofas and antiques and an open fire. he loves to go in there at night and have a snooze and I thought it would be lovely if there was a real old valve radio that picked up all the new stations especially BBC 7. I am being particular as to the type and look only because I want it to look as if the room is in that era and the type of radio you convert are the best I have seen. I do not want a repro that has not lived! So please if you can help me I would be delighted..

Dave

Just to let you know - rushed home from work to try the radio, and have to say wow, its the first DAB set Ive owned that actually receives DAB downstairs in my house. Originally it was going to go upstairs in my chill out room, but Im now thinking it looks and sounds too good for that so I suspect its going to end up replacing my stereo.

Thanks again for a brilliant job, caused lots of conversation at work today and suspect you might get a few nixie clock orders off the back of it too.

Cheers Mart
