Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS before deciding on whether or not you would like to commission me to repair, restore or convert your old valve radio to receive DAB/FM broadcasts or have an iPod dock/CD player/MP3/or USB dock fitted.
EBAY SALES!!!! By bidding on any of my Ebay items, you signify your consent to these terms and conditions.
If you do not agree, please do not Bid.

The small print!!!!
On entering into a contract with me to repair, restore or rejuvenate (convert) your old radio to receive DAB/FM and/or auxiliary sockets/capability you agree to the following:
The item (radio) you have supplied to me to be worked on will be covered by my insurance in terms of loss from my workshop due to accident/fire/ etc as per my Business Policy but only when within my premises. This does not cover transit or shipping but I will insure against losss or damage in transit via my couriers
Once I have started work on an item supplied there will be costs accrued from start to finish but within the scope of the estimate I will have supplied and agreed with the customer. I reserve the right, at my discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove components in order to compete the agreed terms of the project but I will endeavour to consult with the customer as and when necessary should alterations to the original plan occur.
Please check these terms periodically for changes.
Items will be delivered via P4D Courier Services (who use reputable carriers such as FedEx and DHL) or by Royal Mail. Which carrier used depends on the size, weight and value of the item being sent. Items valued over £50 will have extra insurance against loss or damage.
I ship Worldwide but please be aware that this can be very expensive and all costs reflect the packaging required to ensure that your item arrives safely. It would be best if any overseas buyers contact me to establish the actual shipping costs and wait for me to issue an invoice.

Despite the above I do aim to dispatch items the same or next working day of the payment being received.
Please note that usually a signature is required upon the arrival of a package and I would appreciate a confirmation of its safe arrival.
Items will be shipped only when payment has been cleared.
All items are packaged using high quality, reputable packaging materials to ensure your product arrives safely.
Returns Policy
Ebay items: I accept returns if the item is not as agreed in my description. However, I do not accept returns if in the description states that the item is ‘No Return’ which occasionally is the case when I am selling items for restoration or spares or repair.
Commission work: Due to the nature of this work I will NOT accept returns. However, from the outset of a commission I will have discussed with the customer all the work to be completed before I start. During the build I will keep in touch with the customer as the job progresses including sending photographs regularly to inform on progress. The nature of the work means that the customer and myself will be in regular contact and I will seek approval along the way if and when further changes/adaptations from the original plan of action may be called for.
After the project is completed I will require payment in full before the customer
takes possession of the item. If at this late stage the customer does not approve
of the completed item I will of course endeavour to remedy any qualms or re-
Should a customer change his/her mind over a project once I have started, payment will be due for any work completed.
Estimates for my repair, restoration or conversion work will be binding except in instances whereby changes are made, with consultation with the customer, due to unforeseen circumstances and which may incur further costs.
Guarantee
Where stated Dabhandradio offers a 12-
1. if any item is found to be faulty within the guarantee period.
2. if the customer receives the item in broken condition as a result of shipping.
3. if the customer returns the item at their own cost to my workshop, I will return the repaired item back to the customer at my cost.
4. if a repair is not possible a full refund will be made or a suitable replacement provided.
5. the guarantee only applies if the item has been used as appropriate in a context that has not exposed it to adverse conditions such as damp, water ingress or has been dropped, exposed to heat or roughly handled or mistreated by the customer.
6. any problem with the item is immediately reported as soon as the fault occurs. preferably within 7 days.
I will always do my best to solve any issues or problem for you.

DELAYS
Sadly I can’t always keep strictly to the build date and delivery dates quoted on your Order/Estimate. I do try to keep these changes to a minimum but if any occur I promise to let customers know as soon as possible.. PLEASE CHECK THE BUILD SCHEDULE ON THE WEBSITE
